Relocation of freight transports from the road to the environmentally friendly modes of transport rail and waterway as well as connecting the system advantages of the different modes of transport.

Measures for the construction, area expansion and development of transhipment facilities of the combined transport
- Rate of co-financing and conditions
At maximum, 80 % of the eligible investment expenses for the acquisition of real estate (if these are directly necessary for the transhipment and the directly connected transport), the establishment of infrastructure measures required on this real estate for the transhipment and, if necessary, officially ordered, the establishment of required building constructions as well as for the acquisition of transhipment devices.

- Support programme aims at transhipment facilities and thus is only indirectly relevant for the inland waterway transport
